Hi, I'm Tami Lybeck. LPC
Life experiences have driven my passion for helping others on their journey towards self-understanding and mental health. After a long career in accounting, I decided to begin a new career as a therapist, working primarily with individuals and couples. I earned my MA in Marriage and Family Counseling through George Fox University in 2019, and am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in good standing with the Oregon Board of LIcensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the foundation from which this work begins. The goal for our work together is to help you discover your hidden strengths as well cultivate new ones in order to navigate life’s challenges. As a client-centered therapist, I strive to understand your narrative, in order to utilize theories and approaches to therapy that best fit with your needs. These theories include, but are not limited to Trauma-informed person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy.

When I am not working, I enjoy kayaking, hiking, and bicycling in the PNW.
